While we cannot truly control our future in any detailed sense,
we can greatly influence the future we will experience by what
we do in the present.Those who drift from day to day, who have no plans for the
future, who focus almost exclusively on the present when they
are not dwelling on the past, will one day arrive at a future that
they do not want but must endure. Yet, to a fair degree, they will
have created this unwanted state by what they did and did not do
back in the elusive now.Those who know where they want to go, who have some plans
to get there, who respect and learn from the past but focus mainly
on the present and the future, who apply their energies
intelligently, will one day arrive at the future they have imagined

today or someday soon you commit to following the advice of
